Esteemed in history, Hamble heath golf club orginiated in 1875.  First hosted the british amateur championship in 1932, before hosting the walker cup in the 1950's

. 

A par 72 layout, split between 35 and 37 on the back 9. Three par 5's on the 12th, 14th and 15th give the golfer bridie chances, before out of bounds on on 17 and 18 test the nerve of even the steadiest of golfers.

 

The course record of 64 was set in 2002 and remains to this day, beating the 65 that had stood for 47 years.
